Hydro Jetting in Riverton
A drain cable punches a hole through a clog. A hydro jetter washes the entire pipe back to bare wall with water at up to 4,000 PSI. For Riverton lines that keep re-clogging no matter how many times they’ve been snaked, that difference is everything: one is mowing a weed, the other is pulling it out by the root.
Where Jetting Earns Its Keep
Kitchen lines in the mill-era cottages near the water are the classic case. Decades of grease cling to rough old cast iron, a cable opens a channel, and six months later the grease closes back in. Jetting strips the buildup off completely. It does the same to the root lattice in older sewer laterals and to the soap sludge we pull out of lines up in the bluff subdivisions.
Before we jet older pipe, we look first. A sewer camera inspection confirms the line is sound enough to take the pressure, because jetting a collapsing pipe helps nobody. And when a clog is a first offense rather than a repeat offender, plain drain cleaning is cheaper, and we’ll say so up front.
